This position exists to provide the clerical and administrative support for the office.

*New Claim Set Up / Intents       2.00 hours 27%
*Checks / Deductibles 1.00 hour 13%
*Subrogations / Miscellaneous / Insurance / Fees 1.00 hour 13%
*Cash Receipts / Computer Notifications .50 hours 07%
*Diary / Follow-ups .50 hours 07%
*Filing / Match Mail .50 hours 07%
*Outgoing / Incoming Mail Processing .50 hours 07%
*Weekly / Monthly Reports .50 hours 07%
*Answering Phones .50 hours 07%
Other Miscellaneous Tasks As Needed  

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of general office experience
  • Basic level of computer experience [1 year]
  • Basic level of computer software [1-2 years’ experience]
  • Basic typing skills [40 - 50 WPM]

Required Education

High School Diploma or Equivalency

Required Qualifications

  •  Ability to work on several tasks concurrently
  • Ability to produce finished copy from drafts
  • Ability to devise and access different filings systems
  • Ability to receive verbal & written instructions
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of people
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of common formats for correspondence and reports
  • Ability to control and/or adapt to interruptions, changes, disorder
  • Ability to perform tasks with appropriate speed and in a timely manner
  • Ability to maintain composure, effectiveness, and flexibility under pressure
  • Ability to recognize work problems and get assistance when necessary


This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
