Description/Job Summary

Adjust Corporate International Household Good & Property claims.   Assist our clients with current information and updates with ongoing claims, and answer coverage inquiries and interpretations.
 

Responsibilities/Duties

Principal Daily Responsibilities Hours % of Time
*Adjusting of claims including initial review and instructions for set up and assignment to vendor, request for any necessary moving documentation, and acknowledgement of claim to both claimant and client, along with continuous follow up activity. Once all necessary documentation is received, review and adjustment of the claim for payment. 3.00 hours 40%
*Pay claims / compose correspondence/keep client updated 1.50 hours 25%
*Provide client services 1.50 hours 20%
*Checking new claims/doing set up when necessary .25 hours 3%
*Manning desks of other adjusters when necessary .75 hours 5%
*Working with aging report issues .50 hours 7%

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of claims handling experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of moving industry experience preferred
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM accurately
  • Use of Word and Excel
  • Use of Google Mail
  • Strong verbal & written English communication skills

Required Education

High School Diploma or Equivalency
